Her
Wake up to nothing but
The earth, her sea-like grass sashaying all around you;
the faint sound of the ocean
traveling through the trees.
Alone for seconds, then minutes,
eventually days--
survival comes from the fruits that She provides.
Alone for months, years--
survival comes from the seedlings taken from Her.
One single seed being the sole provider
of the sea-like grass
and another for the trees around.
A single seed.
