You are the sunshine,

On a bleak and dreary day,

And when I get crazy,

You keep me at bay.

You anchor me down,

Keep me calm and collected,

In the hectic world we live in,

You keep me focused and directed.

You let me vent my feelings,

You're always there for me,

Even when you have your own problems,

Even when you don't have to be.

You inspire me everyday,

To be a better me,

I'm awed by how God,

Could make someone so kind and sweet.

Someone so generous and selfless,

Always optimistic,

A carefree spirit,

Who is just so altruistic.

It pains me to know,

That you don't see what I see,

A beautiful girl,

With a beautiful personality.

I hope one day you believe me,

That you realize how wonderful you are,

That you deserve the world,

That you are a brilliant star.

You mean the world to me,

And don't you forget it,

I can't even fathom,

A world without you in it.

I love you to the moon and back,

You're one of a kind,

You're my best friend forever,

Two hearts intertwined.
