Her

Laying under a golden blanket,

He breathes as the birds beat their wings;

His eye lids slowly falling over his exhausted eyes

Painting his vision with splotches and speckles of hues of blues and pinks and oranges.

The painting slowly ushers a calm,

Washing his limbs and heart with a cool draft of relaxation.

A feeling known by the waves as the tide recedes into the dark Ocean

And when the sun slowly engulfs spring flowers in light and life.

A smile slowly extends from his lips,

The painting behind his eyelids transmuted into one being that makes him smile,

The one person that can make his icy heart warm anytime;

Her.
