her
i watched you watch her
dance all night with another,
i waited for you to turn your head
and catch me staring at you
but your eyes were fixated
on the way her body curves so gently
and your hands screamed that they
desired to trace every inch of her
and, because i love you,
i finally let our relationship wilt
like a rose with no water
