Her

I met her in the most unexpected way,

I loved her when I least expected it.

But who would have known it would be her with the power to bring me to my knees, and make me fall so quickly.

When I met her, she was warm like the summer sun.

Her smile lighting up rooms and making the sun seeming as if it were the dull glimmer of the moon.

Her eyes, as dark as they may appear, resembles a fountain of dark chocolate flowing endlessly.

Her beauty was not one to compare.

For it is something unique only to her. A beauty to only be found within the soul.

As time came passing by all her favorite things became mine.

When I fell for her it was in July.

Everyday after that was a day worth reliving.

Each passing day my heart belonging more to her.

So that by the time we spoke of our love she already had my heart.

Now she holds my heart gently and carefully.

Knowing that I am hers, as she is mine,

Forever and always.
