Dear My Deepest Insecurity,

They say in the depths of homosexuality is where the lord doesn't dwell. My spirit in the closet because I'm too private to kiss and tell. Exposed to this new haven all the while my old mindset condemns me to hell. Part of me felt guilty while my other half whispered to enjoy my time in the so-called, " Devil's Domain" because if, on judgment day, I get turned away .. at least the time I spent in diablo's play I can say that I did it well. From deeply rooted in religion to challenging my once own beliefs, I vow to be the rose that grew from concrete when my soul finally overcomes defeat of my own worst enemy. The hardest thing to change is your perspective on life itself & only lifted in the solitude am I truly able to focus on my introspective and not anyone else. When everything is still and not a sound is to be made, I sit and
listen to my heartbeat as the battle within my mentality becomes a crusade. I am slowly starting to become more comfortable with my spirit and soul, The weight of the world that once seemed to bury me has long begun to unfold because truth be told, deep down, I love to indulge in the Life of Sin my essence always seems to participate in. Slowly becoming at one within and if I had to relive this life I would do it all over again. They say our love is dark and that we are lost, that we need to be baptized in holy water & stoned under the cross. The fire in my heart for my lover is one of a kind. I am not ashamed nor afraid to call HER mine. For she is everything pure, My guiding light & If loving her is wrong, I don't want to be right. If I die before I wake, I pray the lord, my soul he leaves in peace for I am no longer ashamed of me.
