H.E.R
She couldn't get out of her head.
The constant thoughts and insecurities.
She wanted it all to stop.
The crying , the pain and the hiding .
She laughed all the time but nobody knew how hurt she was inside ....
She was lying to everyone by not telling the truth .
Running in circles she was told lies and to no surprise she believed
them.
Again hiding because she wanted to deceive them, paint them a pretty picture of a perfect world and this perfect girl.
It all seemed so real but she was lost.
A young girl in a circle full of masked murders but she had no gun.
Hidden in the shadows she was a flower with no sun. Lost and abused by the words of her inner demons.
The thoughts kept getting stronger and she couldn't find her way through tumbling and crashing .
She seen her and she wasn't pleased. She wasn't perfect, she was broken and shattered in the face of her own facade she collapsed tears cascading down her face nothing about her seemed right everything was a mistake . Looking through herself she searched for the answer a plan to fix this that was spreading through her like cancer she couldn't see her self anymore like a spec of white in a pit of darkness.
She wasn't herself anymore just a lost soul . She stood up eyes heavy knees weak and palms sweaty with a clear head she looked forward head high and dried her eyes fixed her makeup and walked through the doors .
Her friends smiled at her she smiled back but too no surprise as she walked they were talking behind her back just a bit of jealousy.
Lies spread, rumors heard but, all she did was think
"Head up, Chin high..I just have to look ahead of me . "
