for her
giver of birth
and the reason of me
you sacrificed your hunger
so i could feed off of your breast
you gave up sleep
so i could have mine
oh how i wish i could remember your face
when you saw me for the first time
how you gazed upon my crying eyes
and whispered
"mumma loves you, darling"
