Her


Her eyes brown with drops of autumn within them, 

her soul burns those who look too close.

Her heart is barbed wired, 

not for her heart's sake but for those who dare to touch her heart.

It is dangerous, 

with such a big heart you'd think she would be a kind soul. 

But no, 

her soul is sad and broken, 

wise it is but she's been  hurt so much her heart has grown. 

To protect itself, 

it distanced from everything. 

She felt alone a lot, 

but she grew from all those feelings. 

Such a marvelous creature she is...

so beautiful.
