Her

Darkness was all I could see

Every minute monotonous

It had been so long

Since any light had been seen

Eventually, I gave up fighting

And then there was her.

Brilliant eyes that lit up

With her smile

Pale hair that shone

Like gold in the light

A laugh like music

Filling my ears

I felt a flutter in my chest

Every time she spoke

Whenever she smiled,

I smiled back

Tiny sparks dancing over

My skin with

Even the slightest of

Touches

She ripped me from

My own world and

Pulled me head first into

Her exciting and vibrant life

My senses overwhelmed and

Awakened by

Her

How could I ever

Be the same again?

How can I go back

After she set fire to

Who I was?

Why would I want to?

Every thought is

Her

Every breath is for

Her

Everything is

Her.
