her

I used to be that girl
Don't you know the one
The switch in her walk
The glint in her eyes
The giggle of surprise
Don't you know that girl I used to be
Hiding behind a wall of uncertanty
Lost in a dream
Caught in a daze
The girl I used to be has made a mockery of me.
Uncomprehensive
Unsupportive
And discontented was she
But not me
No longer me
For I finally see
Brillance is beauty
Comprehending is conductive
And dumbing it down
Would simple make a fool of me
Its time to step out of the shadows
Back up for I was tettering off the edge
Stand away from status quote
Turn away from the mirror
Let it shatter with the past
And simply trully rightfully be me.
