From Her and I, to We

People are everywhere

They are always on the move,

Always in a rush to see someone,

Or do something.

But, there is one person

who is always with me.

She is the best thing for me

She lifts me up.

When I am away,

She is broken.

When she is gone,

I lack the ability to function.

We thrive off one another

Sometimes separated

But never apart.

We have become one

But not in a way that is romantic,

Rather in a way that is purely conceptual.

From her and I, to we

Two separate lives

Now lived together.

She and I are one

We live for each other

She is the best thing for me.
