Her Angel
He spreads his wings across her skin
Although half asleep she wears a grin
Deep in his mind he knows that this is forbidden
For it's dangerous to fall for a mortal on Earth
He will fight to be with her, they just have to stay hidden
She's currled up in his arms so tight
Wishing and dreaming everything will be alright
As she sleeps he thinks up of a plan
One day they'll fly off together hand in hand
Shattering glass and shrieking cries
Brings him back to reality, wings spread prepared to fly
Awoken so suddenly, she is very alarmed
No longer protected by her angel's wing
Something sharp goes through her, putting her life in harm
Slowly dying she screams to the sky
"You're my guardian angel and for you I would die!"
A shadow comes towards her, she fears she is doomed
Until her angel swoops down and carries her out of the room
He knows the time has come, she is no longer breathing
With a cut of his wings, he'll make his love an angel too
Drops of blood fall from his skin
Deep into her wound, she begins breathing again
Something is different, her body feels odd
She gets up and screams out "Oh My God!"
Pure white wings now stretch out from her back
They are different from her angel's because his are now black
She asks him what happened, he simply smiles and says
You are forever my angel, I'll have you until the very last day.
