Her Everyday Sweater
As I stand on my feet on the inside of the city
Stand as tall as I can, look bright like the many lights; look pretty
The taxi drivers sped up and my face covers with hairs
Everyone sees me, but no one cares
Looking down at my boots, enjoying its cheap perfection and memories,
Walk straight, wherever I may go, will be an adventure
If I have to make it up to this world,
I might as well get to know it a little better
Take it from the girl who finds comfort in her everyday sweater
