Her Eyes

Mon, 06/17/2019 - 21:42 -- akudler

In her eyes everything is big and tall

Trees sway like giants

She notices every ladybug

Each crack in the side walk is a canyon

In my eyes everything is tiny and small

Letters on my keyboard

I forget what a chrysalis  is

Can't seem to drive by fast enough

When you grow up everything gets blurry except what is straight ahead

Only when I get on my knees and look in her eyes

Do I see what really matters
