Her eyes, His escape

He thinks about her daily.
Making it seem as if he is not there, but in his imagination. Wanting to see her,
and her eyes.
The ones that
light up his day.
The eyes that give him
a smile.
He looks at them, sees what
he is, the question
he always asked himself.

When he looks,
Sees what he can become,
He finds himself
In her eyes.
The ones that shine,
Brighter than the stars.
The way it makes him
Feel, is better than anything
He has ever felt.
They make him warm,
Comfortable,
And feel new.

People ask why her eyes?
He simply says,
They are gentle, warming,
And a sweet
Escape. But be careful,
 For they can be mysterious,
Dangerous, and killing.
He can handle them
Because once she looks,
She blushes, and covers
Her smile. Her eyes are his
escape. On occasion

He would hold her,
An look just
To be personal about it.
He loves her eyes,
And would give the
World to see them.
Its something magical,
That overwhelms him,
With joy, and happiness.
If he could, he would look,
At them all day. Just to
Have that feeling.

This poem is dedicated to my fox, for i speak the truth of your eyes, i love you, i just hope you love me too
