Her Hate

Hate, Revenge, Vengeance, These are the things that keep her going, The hate enters her body, Through her mouth, Into her lungs, Looking for her soul to take, The hate enters her soul, And takes control, She becomes a monster, A beast, She feels like a raging tiger, Trying to break lose, From the chains, The teasing, The heartbreak, The lies …the world. But she can’t escape it, She’s trapped, Ina a corner, By the revenge she wants to take upon his soul, The soul that caused her hatred; Distrust against the world. The hate tells her it loves her, She knows it is the only thing that can’t, Lie, Cheat, Or break her heart, Until she dies, They will be together, Forever, in harmony, Hating the world.

This poem is about a young teenage girl who is going through a tough time dealing with her relationship. Her friends and family do not understand what she is feelings so they only think negative things of her-- that us the teasing she is refering to in the poem. Her hate is spun out of her broken heart and the distrust she has for people because of bad relationships and by being betrayed.
