Her Hidden Tears

Can it be that nobody sees these hidden tears

The ones that slide down displaying her lingered fears

Does anybody question her red gaze

Or simply ignores her with a blank haze

This home is a battlefield field with barricades

No one can escape without facing the hurricanes

Parents that speak with their fists

Two siblings that wish they did not exist

And she pretends to be alright

But her heart can not deal with the plight

So she searches for solidarity

And cries and cries without gaining an ounce of clarity
