With her instead

Always thought I knew

what my heart was telling me

But now, I'm not so sure.

Worked your way

into my folds

But didn't you know, I'm broken.

Wouldn't be good for you

You should fall in love with her instead.

With her instead, with her instead.

I'd die for you- with her instead.

I'd be forever true- with her instead.

Give you all I have- with her instead.

I'd make a home with you- with her instead.

But in my dreams, oh the things we'd be

With me instead, with me instead.

Love me instead, kiss me instead

Hold my hand instead.

Hold my hand by the fire, Al.

We've got nothing left to lose.
