Her Keeper

A woman is only a question

A book without an ending

~~~
An answer; there is only one
A close on a plot ever-winding
~~~

Her salvation was only but a glimmer

A story with lines open ended

~~~
An angel in the flesh was he
A postmarked package for her, intended
~~~

Could it be?

Every life was an unopened gift

~~~
Only one keeper with a name on the tag
Only one waiting to untie her pretty bow
~~~

Her story was a gift unopened

A question, in fact, unanswered

~~~
He was her keeper with the name on the tag
Ready to open with an answer
~~~

A salvation specially designed for her

By her father drifting on a cloud

~~~
As he was her happy ending
She was to him as well
~~~

Our lord’s dove in the hands of two mortals

All started with a mere “Hello”
