Her Life

Life,

Life is what we all live in.

She has to go through life with heart,

Or she wouldn’t be doing it right from the start.

Heart,

Something we all have.

Even if she doesn’t use it, she still laughs.

Home,

Home is where she should always feel comfortable

But sometimes even that is an obstacle.

Home is where her heart is and her heart helps her with life, right?

But what if her heart hurts her life, while holding her back from her true destination- home?

What if her heart messes with her mind and her mind messes with her spine,

stripping her of all her beliefs and time?

What if life wasn’t all peachy,

but lemon and lime?

An actress once said, “It’s hard being a Diamond in a Rhinestone world.”

It doesn’t hurt her, though, this girl,

Until the world puts her mind in a swirl.

Looking for some sense of security, some type of muse,

No one was there for her, in that moment, to cure her Blues.

But five years from then, she was unconcerned.

She was focused and she had learned.

She didn’t want to make a wrong turn, start off life with a burn.

So, she had worked, achieved, and earned.

She was able to hold her own.

She went to college and built her knowledge.

She made her own check, rarely got disrespect.

She lived it up as an Architect.

Her skin was clear, no stress was near.

Her mind had changed, for she was stronger and more arranged.

Her shyness had gone away and her bluntness came out to play.

From then on, she did not care, at all, what people had to say.

Her hair was full and big, and no, it wasn’t a wig.

Her life was spiced and wise,

Her heart had tripled its size.

Her home, now esoterica, was West Palm Beach, Florida.

So, over five years, you could say she did good.

She handled her business the way she understood.

She took on every problem with a long stride,

And she most definitely did everything in life with pride.
