Her Life with the King of Death

She opened the door

Her feet stuck on the floor.

"He's holding me here," she thought

as her feet became hot.

Walking into the hospital always seemed hard.

She thought it was because she saved those inside instead of letting them drift off to his doors and his guard.

Persephone through the flowers from hair,

"You're not allowed to touch me here!"

She pulled her feet from the floor,

Ran through the door,

And threw on her scrubs.

Pushing his deadly, tempting eyes from her mind,

She resisted the urge to press rewind.

Instead of missing his twisted love,

She focused on her work here above

And moved passed the pain of her past with the King of Death.
