Her love for him

She looked at him with a love that could set the world ablaze.

She had never known anybody that made her feel like this.

What was it about him that did this to her?

Was it that adorable crooked smile?

Or those big beautiful brown eyes with that one little speck?

She could never tell you why she loved him.

But she could name every moment that made her fall in love.

When they first met and she was so shy she couldn’t even look at him.

Then as soon as she did he kissed her until she couldn’t breathe.

When he held her for the first time and she didn’t want to move.

Their first date when he fussed at her for not eating.

She had never had someone that cared about her eating.

He made her feel like she was the only person in the world.

She never wanted that feeling to end.

Unfortunately it did and now all she has are the memories.

She lives for those memories and the way they fill her heart.

When she goes to bed and all of them fill her dreams.

She prays every night that he might come back.

So that he can fill her heart once more.
