Her Natural Disaster

through her eyes

everything is only black and white

but when oceans form in her eyes

and storms hit her cheeks

she can smell her favorite flower

the flower that lives for the glaring sun

and when tsunamis wash over her

and earthquakes tremble her body

she can feel the heat of the bonfire

the flame that burns blue to yellow

and when stars fall from her chest

and lunar eclipses form in her dreams

she can see the sun awake from the dark

the pinkish orange color that painters don't know

but when the coals turn to black

and the gravel stops dancing

she can see the natural disasters

the disasters that ignite her senses

everything that makes her feel alive

will only kill her in the end

to save herself

everything is only black and white
