Her Only Defeat

It is the one afraid of it’s own mind,
because it knows exactly what it’ll find.
No treasure of gold is hidden there.
Nor is it cloudy, nor filled with thin air.
It’s mind is full of shadows,
but nothing is hidden from sight,
so it distracts itself
in any way it might
but suddenly,
She is the one lighter that air.
If you visit her mind, you will find her there.
Happiness and light burst from a since solemn soul,
for she is the one that knows no burden nor foe.
She is the one they all want to meet,
but too often they meet the other,
and in it lies her only defeat.
