Her Pain

I have learned through the rhythm 

That flows through the words 

I have seen what scars her beauty

I know the pain behind her smile

I have thought of her strength 

Then I found her weakness 

As I wrote out the events leading up

As I elegantly documented her pain

I saw the trauma and the loss

At first it seemed dramatic
