Her Shell

It took years for her to Get out of shell Yall had no clue All of hell She faced in her Younger days Everyone around her Whether it was behind Her back or in front Of her face Used to and still call Her outside of her name It was the Holy Spirit Who broke her shell Enemies down the years At her would stay yellin But she would just Ignore the wrong smells Can't you tell when she Walks by That she realized that she Belongs to the Heavenly Father who's higher in the skies She never has to ask herself Why her crooked teeth Still don't look right Because Jesus said, "I'm using her until the day she dies"
