Her Story

Before we were free I thought it'd last forever. I guess you could say they were a little clever. Our family was watched by the SIMS days and nights. We had no more rights. It stopped being bright. Tio Toni really didn’t go missing. He was just hiding. It took awhile to know why that was decided. Our family was against the dictator. El Jeje was a traitor Because he killed innocent lives, I still don’t know why. If it was by hand or a knife. he took young girls and made them his wives he was probably fool of flys. As months went by dad had a plan, he had no choice but to try and kill the man. Later, it got to the ears of the dictator. While dad was out, mom and I were hiding behind closet doors. Hoping we wouldn't get found. the day we came out dad was no longer there. for trying to get our freedom back, he was killed.

My names Areli, i enjoy writing poetry for fun. i recently started adding my poetry on here. I'm not the kind of person that like to share stuff like this, it gets personal at times. I honestly don't know why i decided to get my poems on here, i guess i just want some feedback. I'm only 17 and i hope i get a career where i can do what i love to do. Maybe even write a book.

This was part of a homework assignment. For some reason i thought it might be a good idea to start sharing my poetry with others.
