Her Time.

She looks up at the stars as she travels towards the sky

She closes her eyes and sees the light way up high.

She was ready to leave, but not ready to say goodbye

Oh how she wished to sing one last lullaby.

No one was ready to see

The truth that lay ahead

We wanted her to stay

But fate took her away.

Harsh it seemed-we wanted to scream

But she came in the night, in one of our dreams.

She wanted us to see she was ready to go,

With her hear beating ever so slow.

She knew her time was up, deep down she wanted to stay,

But remember, life doesn't work that way.

You come, you go, you live, and you die.

Heaven or Hell, we decide.

We loved you dearly--we wish you were here

I remember your last words, 'I love you my dear'.

If I could change one thing, I'd spill out my heart

And tell you how much I love you,

From the bottom of my heart.
