Her Trap

Uncomfortable with her life and disgusted with God, because of everything that's happening she just wanna be gone. To be a fugitive of life, that's what she aspires. Hit the road and dissapear until she gets tired. Right now she feels isolated, her right to happiness violated. Repeatedly stabbed, stripped of any sanity she had. Nobody there to keep her sustained, her broken heart once again obtained. She goes back to previous habits, merely for old times sake. Knowing it'll only bring her down, she still sticks with the mistakes. She does anything in her power to receive the attention that has been denied to her, she seeks redemption. Watching her reflection on the blade, while she attepmts to be her own aid. Though it's never any help keeping the routine, maybe just once she'll really start to believe. To the rest her problems are a minor object, nothing to worry about, she's mislead by a prophet. She used to feel ten feet tall, like she could conquer the world. Now she looks down feeling so small, what's left of this girl? All that's there is an illusion, she owes no explanation. Caught up in the confusion, straying further from her destination. Blind from the fight, her fatigue more obvious. Crawling towards the light, every move extra cautious. Should keep going but freezes instead, everytime her body locks up she feels more lost. Scared to look ahead, not realizing how much that costs. An addict of regret, losing every bet. Believing every lie, thoughts of every kind. Pulled by the quicksand, reaching for any hand. Escapes in her sleep, all these secrets she will keep. No one has a clue, she turns her cheek and smiles at you. You smile back, truly thinking you know all the facts. But now it's too late,, you've fallen into her trap.
