Her Villanelle ...

Living without her is a thought that looms

Her face is one you’ll never forget

She’s the one I stare at in a full room

Sometimes her attitude can make me fume

But her love is as good as it can get

Living without her is a thought that looms

She’s the only one who can dispel my gloom

I don’t think she knows she’s my favorite pet

She’s the one I stare at in a full room

Sometimes her attitude can make me fume

But then I think back to the first time we met

Living without her is a thought that looms

Her presence lights up an entire room

With her love I will be forever set

She’s the one I stare at in a full room

I could love her forever if she’ll let

Me and I’ll never feel like I’m doomed

She’s the one I stare at in a full room

Living without her is a thought that looms
