Her Vow

She looks at him with love in her eyes. All she wants is for him to appreciate her presence

She tells him she loves him all the time but when he says it back it seems way off track. At times he don't bother to reply. She confronts him and he denies the

accusation.

She feels constantly rejected by the man who once made her feel protected.

She asked the simplest of things. She wanted their relationship to get to the place where some day she would wear his ring.

His actions have her thinking "why am i not enough? Was this relationship all just a bluff?"

She realizes it would never be more than what it was. She feels his interest fading.

The calls are less and affection is waning. She knows it's slowly ending.

For some reason she leaves things pending.

Every time she sees him he is more and more distant. Her heart feels more and more twisted.

Why am i not enough? She silently despairs. She tells him how she feels.

He cant even tell her he misses her. There are times he never even kisses her.

"Why am I not enough?" She starts to feel her love is wasted. The pain is so great she can almost taste it.

Finally things go south and she decides to open her mouth. He breaks her heart without emotion and her tears flow like an ocean.

He is cold for no reason making her feel as if she committed treason.

Why was i not enough? At first she is hurt and sad. Then the way he is being makes her feel mad.

She sees he never deserved her. He took her love for granted. So her resolve becomes firmly planted.

All that emotion she had reserved for him only she takes it and locks it into a box in her mind. So when she thinks of him it's as if it's dissolved into nothing.

She convinces herself she is better off without him.  Bye bye asshole see you in another life.  Be alone to dwell in you misery, pain and strife.

She will go on and live her life.
