Herald of the Gods

My loyal mailman, never one to fail;

Come what may, each day you are at my door;

Accurately you transport my mail;

No rain, wind, nor snow has stopped you before.

Your eager feet sprout wings from their soles;

You work like the wind to get through the day;

Time running brings you closer to your goals;

Extra messages and packages earn more pay.

Always looking out for thieving fingers;

Ever true you never fail my requests;

After you bring mail, no soul there lingers;

Belov’d postman with greatest success.

Mayor Zeus should be proud to have you in this community;

For, Hermes, no one else helps it to run smoothly, in complete unity.
