Hercules would faint at the sight of blood
Hercules was sent by Hera to kill Geryon.
The boy of red.
Red eyes and red wings and red hair.
He could only see red, he only knew red.
Hercules, being a modern trickster,
with a distaste for blood, for the sight of red,
swithced up the stars.
Hercules did not cut off his wings one at a time,
he did kick or beat him.
Hercules did something that would prolong his suffering long after he left.
In a caluclated act of cruelty,
he made Geryon fall in love with him,
with no intention of ever loving him back.
Geryon mourned for many many moons,
maybe all of them.
No one knows,
He was cursed with infinity.
Hera with an indignant sigh said
"You have not killed him my boy"
Hercules replied "But you see I did".
