From here
I don’t trust ,
I don’t love ,
I don’t smile ,
I don’t talk ,
I’m not friendly ,
I’m not an outside person ,
I don’t want to meet your family or friends ,
I don’t want to get close to nobody no more ,
From here ,
It’s all about me ,
My happiness,
My heart,
My mind ,
My soul ,
My spirit,
My body ,
Everything that makes me ,
Everything that’s a part of me ,
From here on ,
I will not let a man hit me ,
I will not let a man get the best of me ,
I will not settle for any man ,
I will chase my dreams ,
I will be successful in life ,
I will succeed in life ,
I will be great ,
I will have all my daughters in my custody,
I will have everything & more that I lost ,
I will stay in the race ,
I will fight back ,
From here ,
Iam me ,
Can’t be nobody but me ,
Why be born if I can’t be me ,
I was giving a life ,
So I’m live my life ,
From here ,
Iam stronger than yesterday,
Iam better than I was before ,
Iam smart ,
Iam beautiful,
& my black life do matter.
So for that I stand with a smile ,
& say ,
From here ,
I’m coming back harder than ever before ,
