Here I Come

Lying in the warm sun

Not a care to be given

Until one day I found out

I had become driven.

I wanted to be this

I wanted to be that

It turns out

I was just a cat.

Living in my fantasies

Alone in my dreams

Secluded from the world

It's worse than it seems.

Living in the dark

No light to be seen

I light my torch

I light my scene.

I take the opportunity

To be taught

I am my own lightbulb

I have many a watt.

I will make an impact

I will lead the way

I will no longer be a follower

I will not astray,

From the path that is mine

And mine to take

I will change the world

You just sit there and wait.

I'm changing lives

One by one

Look out world,

Here I Come.
