Here I Go!
Nervous, anticipation, nausea
Small room- marley floor, full length reflecting surface, dark
Girls, tall, short, fat, skinny, stretching.
Clock strikes nine.
Here I go!
Hot sun blinding me
Sweating before my turn.
My name yelled from the room.
Angry bees buzzing inside of me,
Here I go!
Three pairs of eyes staring at me,
Burning a hole in my soul.
Body tense, muscles cramping
So confused,
Here I go!
I’m done, worse day ever.
Waiting for the bad news.
Now for the real world, what will I do?
Nervous, anticipation, nausea
Here I go!
