Here On This Island

Here on this island I stand, waiting for something

A thought, an idea, someone

But after all there is not one person except me

So here I am on this island waiting, ruling out what is overated

A boat, a house, some food you cant live without...no

There is more to this maintream question

There is more to this life then just spitting out a sentence

Thoughts and ideas cross between one another

At first glance this question seems light as a feather

But what would you do if you were on the island with just you

Would you fight, or feel frustrated without your bulbs of light

So here on this island I stand

Waiting for something grand

Faith in the one who is greater, is the only thing that will keep me sane

No boat, no house, no food I can't live without

Just me and God, not sitting at odds

Just silent in His perfection

No thing can stand between me and Him

He always was and always is

I might get some heat for talking about Him but Im not waverd

Im just glad I got a chance to write on this paper
