Here it is
Here it comes again
drowning me
swallowing me whole
Here it comes again
that wretched beast
pulling me in
with its sharp claws
and horrible breath
Here it comes again
and here I am disarmed
completely vulnerable and raw
Too human
and the shell of a human I am
Here it comes, gnawing at my shell
like I have anything left
like I left some meat to chew
and I wonder what will be left of me
what will be left of me
when the shell is no more
and I collapse
into nothing
Here it is, almost done with me
and here I am
at least for now, here I am
Here it is
Here it is
and Here I am
