Here Stands A Flower

Here stands a bulb
Fresh and  new
The Gardener plant it in his garden
It is cared for in great detail
The bulb is happy

Here stands a flower
Young and full of life
The Gardener pulls out the weeds
Ensures that nothing grows to close
The flower is happy?

Here stands a dying flower
Tired and hopeful
The Gardener over pulls, over waters
Now the flower sags
The flower questions

This is not the way
Enteral devotion dose not mean enteral obsession
The flower never bloomed nor did it grow
With the Gardener pouring as much water he could give
Here stands a dead flower
