Here But There

I sit up at night. Eyes half open, half closed. Wondering what tomorrow holds when I barely got thriugh today. I feel a smile on my face, but all I see is sadness. Feels like I'm here but there. Glass half empty, half full. Yet, I want it all. Trying to determine how long it'll take when I can't even remember when  it started. All I can do is hold on. It's like I'm here but there. Alone but I'm not the only one. Here but there. One foot in while the other is waiting. Here but there. It's right in front of me, but I still can't reach it. Here but there. Here but there. Here but there. This must be what it's like to be here but there.
