Here we tread a line so clever
Here we tread
A line so clever
We walk we grow
We reap and sow
Ready your pen, I have the ink
And I think this cup to drink
Shall come to pass as it does
As broken ships shall sink
To walk along the greener grasses
In hope of pastures of awe for us to glean
Like the radiance of an honored queen
So we tread
In hope of escaping the dead thought of emancipation
Freedom from each other's thoughts of patience and waiting and isolating under the umbrella that's raining
Though the mud looks fine
And like the memories of a childish kind
We cannot seem to sway from
For magnets don't stop working when you tell them to wait
Since it's too late they study the doctrine of attraction only to realize that they understand it in light of themselves and what they feel
So when are you supposed to peel a banana if it's always green
Like those grasses in quality pristine
Christine, we wait for what could be
As we submit to the Trinity
Or try to.
Our conscience is no entity to lie to
So when emotion comes as a businessman, selling you his riches and his discounts of feeling, he may as well be kneeling- proposing to take from you wisdom and prudence.
True emotion follows in time and doesn't need to be manufactured-
It's organic so don't panic, look to what you have. You possess immense treasure of God and man. The sovereign plan for you to be treading carefully.
So.
Reap and sow
For you practically glow in the midst of holiness and purity
Lock yourself in security against all that is not meant to be- even me when I knock prematurely. It is not my door
You have so much in store- so don't sell out I urge you not to ignore what you have been called to
And then call me
Help me plant the seeds that will grow into the plants I want
Let not my future haunt me because you saw what I was foolish enough to not see
Believe me- I'm just one man, not two, nor three
So the hope in my head
Please don't sever
Here we tread
A line so clever
