Here Where I Stand

Why do I bother...

Trying my hardest only to get denied what I deserve.

Search through book after book and page after page, only to discover that I was looking in the wrong place.

Like a sword smith, hammering hammering away till perfection is reached, to have no one to take the perfect sword.

Marching like a solider through desert through swamp through marsh through valleys of dead comrades and through all kinds of disgusting landscapes, too reach the battlefield and find that the war was lost.

Working and working till I could no long hold a pen, only to have the paper put through the shredder.

God! Answer me!

Is my strife all for nothing?

Will my labors ever bear fruit?

Do my actions cause an effect?

 Am I destined for Oblivion?

Answer me please my God!

Answer me in dream, in angel, in sign, in any form you so wish!

Just please God, answer me!

Have come so far, only to entire Oblivion?
