A Hero

Inspiration.

The connotation?

A strong figure,

That in the back of your mind, always lingers.

It’s your rock.

Whether they know or not.

Inspiring.

With the word, my mind is finding

The way my mom pushes on.

How she keeps going strong,

For me,

And my brother Jimmy.

I explored my surroundings and came to the conclusion,

That her perseverance gave an illusion,

Of all powerful might

And I thought, for a moment, she could do anything in sight.

My mom inspires me

Because of her strength that I can and cannot see.
