Hero Complex
My mind has a crack,
It's not one you can see.
It is silent when it attacks,
do you know how painful it can be?
I curl into a ball,
I dare not to move
For fear the dam will fall
For fear of everything I could loose.
This is why I am kind
For who knows what pain
Is hidden behind
That smile they feign.
I want to save you
to make you smile
It doesn't matter who
If only for a while.
I suppose I have it
That Hero complex.
That tiny split,
How much it affects!
To save the day
To save a life
Like a hero in a cape
To block the knife
I guess that little tear
Is better than I thought
It is something I can bear,
because of the Hero complex I got.
