Heroin Father

Running through my blood

You are toxicity

You are every part I have grown to hate about me

From the beginning of time you brought only pain

You flushed me of personality

And chizeled at my brain

This is an addiction, the worst kind indeed

I feed off of your approval

to feel okay as me

I suppose I may die trying to get what I need

Despite the fact that you

Break me

Kill me

And take everything

I am given a taste every once in awhile

to keep coming back

but I am Dying

I am hungry

I am struggling to breathe

The rush of the first time is all that I need
