Herself

She is broken inside

There's so much hidden

Such a mystery

Never to be solved

But she keeps it to herself

All those nights she cried

When you ask ''are you okay?''

She says yes, she lied

But it's okay

Because she keeps it to herself

Every sleepless night

Every tear that dropped

She's so done putting up a fight

Because she keeps it to herself

A bird with no direction

A cub without protection

A girl without a father

Would be a clearer way to say it

But she keeps it to herself
