He's All I Need

I never knew what it was like to be listened to

When you're up at 2 in the morning, crying your eyes out

For no reason.

I never knew what it was like to have someone there

That understands you and everything you do.

I never knew what it felt like to have a love so immense for someone

Without being scared of losing them.

I didn't know how good it felt to laugh and smile with an actual reason

For doing so.

I didn't know any of this, until this ray of pure sunshine

Walked into my life.

And if that light ever left my life,

I would never know what it's like to live happily again.
