He's Alright

Thoe I'm uncertain of my life , I have hopes in my dreams. Thoe I'm not stable in all my ways , I have hope that in me , god believes.

I've traveled within myself only to find out i am not who I say. I've traveled only to find out grief is where I stay.

Time and time again I've searched for the love I once lost, looking in all the wrong classes in which I weren't taught.

I've lifted my hands one to many times and i hollered " I give up " , while all the while he was still filling my cup.

I stopped asking for forgiveness along the way and stumbled upon my own, I became rocky in my stable places and wound up all alone.

Not knowing I was alone for a purpose, so I stepped out of my blessing zone , got off of both knees and decided I were grown.

I felt god take his hand off of my shoulder and I felt a presence leave my sight, my eyes were now closed and who wants to be blind during a fight?

Who wants to believe in themselve but fail to believe in this man, can crawl to the world for more pleasure, but for his glory , stand?

Me, That's who I encourage myself today , no one can down this creation that God has built up , there is no way.

There are so many times I've given up to the point where I felt stuck, felt as if my mind was overpowered by flesh and that I were out of luck.

While we're sinning we need to understand that pleasure only lasts until death, but realize our life comes from God , he's our health.

Somewhere along the way I got tired of having to break my back for what god claimed was already mine, I got tired of having to hurry up and praise God, but I felt I was running out of time.

Everything is done in decent and in order is what I heard God say, that's when I threw my worldly ID away.

I didn't want to check in the world and then check out of life, I wanted freedom that God promised me, the promise life.

He's not gone nor forgotten, and I remember that every day, I remember who died for me, who exactly payed the way.

See, I came to realize my heart beats because of his grace, I came to realize I'm still walking up straight because of my faith.

It takes one step to move you forward and only one step to set you back. That's when I knew it was time for me to subtract.

I subtracted lies and deceit and I started to see the light, I started to break loose from the world and hook on to god tight. I started to believe in myself and my eyes started to absorb light. Who wants to come against my father and I ? Because now I can fight, took a couple blows , but now I'm alright .

I wouldn't have stuck with it, if god hadn't have spared my life, I tried Jesus and I know " He's Alright " .
