He's Back...

Questions racing

Heart pounding

Mind spinning

Breath quickening

Phone vibrating

Another text from HIM...

the one I gave my heart to...

the one I broke my walls for...

the one I let do things

I was too afraid to let another do.

The one who lied

The one who cheated

The one who used me

for something he could have had from another.

Why now?

Why?

When I need to think about

the one I'm with now...

Why?

Why when I'm already confused...

already scared...

already upset...

Why now

when I'm just starting to have doubts?

Why???

Funny how that works.

The wound has been reopened,

the stitched ripped out by one word,

one text,

one name.

Will he mend

that which he has broken?

Will he hurt

that which he has already killed?

Will he love

a girl he once endured?

Will he finish

what he started before?

But before any of those can be ansered,

I must answer this:

Will I let him?

I got into poetry my freshman year of high school. I absolutely fell in love with it. It is my drug, my addiction that I cannot shake. I love visiting Renaissance Faires, theme parks, swimming, hiking, singing, writing, and reading. I love the movie "PS, I Love You." I am a hopeless romantic, but I have not always had the best luck in relationships. A lot of my poetry comes from my heart and mind, and holds special meaning, maybe even a few tears. But some other poetry of mine is simply random and weird and goofy. Just me being me. My nose gets cold easily, and my room is always a mess. I collect stuffed animals (don't laugh) and rocks (that I named for a time when I was younger). I also know how to play Snaps. Yeah. I also have a pet fish (Danny), two turtles (Todd and Talulah), two cats (Timon and Angel), two goats (Hearts and S.J.), and five dogs (Sheila, Shakespeare, Rusty, Duke, and Rebel). Yup. We're a farm. Not literally, but a lot of pets. I have a guitar, but I can't play yet. I need lessons. I shall learn though. Oh, and I have written way more poems than I have actually published on here. I have over a hundred. So what you see is only a peek. Hope you like my poetry.
